Mako Networks was formed in New Zealand in 2000. The first Mako System was made commercially available in July of 2002 and Mako Systems now operate in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, United States, Canada and South Africa.

The company currently has offices in Auckland and London. It holds patents for the System in New Zealand, European Union, North America, China, India and Malaysia.

Customers of Mako Networks include IT Integrators, Resellers, Internet Service Providers and Telco’s.

Recent contracts with Telecom New Zealand and 5th Mountain South Africa have propelled Mako into the mainstream.
